We are all in this together – and we are glad you are visiting our site. This is our online meeting place, where we organize our activities, share ideas, and publicize our mission.
Our Work
Our goal is to bring together resource parents, agency representatives and members of the community to promote mutual coordination, cooperation and communication in an effort to encourage recruitment and retention of resource families with a heartfelt calling for the purpose of improving the system and enhancing the lives of all children and their families.
Mission Statements
The Maryland Foster Parent Association – Prince George’s County, Inc. is dedicated to address concerns, and needs of foster parents, adoptive parents, guardianship, and kinship placements. Our purpose is to educate, inform, support and motivate our resource families in Prince George’s County under a united voice.
Our voice speaks with the belief in the value of all children, and the strength and vitality of family. Our voice broadens to; also provide information and training about child welfare issues that impact parents and children. In order to stay abreast of changes, we will find possible solutions to the challenges and issues that families face. Our voice is to advocate for Resource families, to strengthen one another through positive encouragement and support. We are the Maryland Foster Parent Association – Prince George’s County, Inc. providing resources necessary for the bettering of families.
